Meet your sister in Christ

Facts about Terrica & the beginning of the Awakening :

I am a native of Louisiana — the eldest of three maternal children and the third of many paternal siblings. From a young age, I was often told I was different — that I stood out from the crowd. I embraced that difference early, recognizing it as part of my divine design: peculiar, set apart, and chosen.

Even as a child, I was drawn to God. At four years old, I taught myself how to pray. My curiosity about who God was ignited a hunger that no one had to teach me — it came from within. He felt wonderful even before I fully understood His place in my life.

Blessed with a gift of wisdom and intelligence, I was placed in advanced academic programs throughout my school years. By the age of six, I was already reading legal documents and completing job applications for family members who could not read. My educational journey led me through public schools, earning my GED in 2001, followed by community college studies and eventually two university degrees, culminating in a Master of Science in Nursing.

At fifteen, a Prophet of God spoke a word over my life — declaring that I would one day be used by God to heal people. At that time, I brushed it off, dismissing it as impossible because of the lawless lifestyle I was living. But as Scripture says, “God’s word will not return void.” (Isaiah 55:11). Thereafter, at age twenty, after attending a women’s retreat at Bethany World Prayer Center, I had my first encounter with an angel of the Lord — a divine visitation that awakened my spiritual sight. It opened my awareness to the reality of the unseen realm and affirmed within me that Heaven truly responds to the name of Jesus. That encounter marked the beginning of my understanding that the supernatural is real and that God’s presence moves when His name is called in faith.

Though my spiritual journey was far from perfect — I lived a backslidden life on and off for years — God’s hand never left me. Even in the moments when I strayed, His mercy shadowed me, gently guiding me back to His path. I was first baptized at age eleven at Bethany World Prayer Center, publicly declaring my belief in Jesus Christ. Yet as I grew older, life’s temptations and trials pulled me away from that early faith.

Still, the call of God remained constant, echoing through every season of rebellion and repentance. There was always a deep knowing within me that I was marked — set apart for something greater than my mistakes. His grace kept pursuing me through every detour, protecting me from destruction even when I wasn’t living right.

Years later, after many valleys and divine wake-up calls, I found myself standing once again at a river — this time in North Carolina at age forty — ready to surrender fully. As I went down into those waters, it wasn’t just another baptism; it was a public rededication of my life, a covenant renewal between God and myself. That moment represented not just repentance, but rebirth — a washing away of the old, and an awakening into the purpose He had ordained from the beginning.

Of all the biblical figures I admire, Jesus Christ is my first love and greatest example. But after Him, I hold a deep connection to King David — a man who sinned and stumbled, yet remained after God’s own heart.

At age thirty-nine, I began to notice prophetic numbers appearing repeatedly — 3:20, then 20 everywhere I turned. At first, it frightened me. Then frustration set in as I sought to understand their meaning. I began studying prophetic numbers through the teachings of Apostle Quan Lanae Green of Kingdom Wealth Ministries and Pastor Troy Brewer.

Around this time, my spiritual encounters intensified. The Holy Spirit began speaking to me vividly, His presence so tangible that my hands would tingle with His power (Mark 2:17). Despite my imperfect lifestyle, His grace pursued me relentlessly.

Before my 40th birthday, I remember making a promise to God. I told Him that I would dedicate the rest of my years to Him, because I had already given my children, my relationships with men, and my career everything I had—yet I still found myself at His throne, begging for miracles in situations I had created through my own choices.

And yet, out of His love, His mercy, and His faithfulness to His Word, He never left me, nor did He forsake me. He continued to answer my prayers. But when I tell you His presence was heavy at my 40th birthday—it was undeniable. So I said to myself“ok let me go on this girls trip in Jamaica and when I come back I will surrender wholeheartedly. My birthday is in March. The Jamaica trip came in April 2023, and by May of that same year, the relationship began to deepen rapidly—moving straight into the core of intimacy without pause.

Oh but it came with plenty Godly insight, Heavenly insight, betrayal after betrayal, knowing of hidden things that had been happening for years in my life exposed, wealth of wisdom & revelation and many spiritual realms of intense warfare.

God met me right where I was, and we’ve been tag-teaming ever since (Matthew 9:10–17). There are countless testimonies of how my life began to change speedily (Revelation 22:20). During that season, all I wanted to do was praise and worship — to sit at His feet constantly. That was where His presence rested with me the most. I even created an exclusive prayer room in my home just for Him.

The Bible says, “The first shall be last, and the last shall be first.” When Jesus used this phrase, “the first” referred to those who self-righteously assert their superiority yet reject the Savior and His gospel. “The last” referred to His humble followers who make great sacrifices for the sake of the kingdom (Mark 10:28–31).

During that season, God instructed me to begin studying the Bible deeply, starting with Moses. It was no coincidence — Moses was called at forty, the Israelites wandered forty years, and those enlisted for war were counted from age twenty (Numbers 1:45; Acts 7:23). These numbers — 20 and 40 — became prophetic markers in my life.

Through it all, I learned that God is consistent — the same yesterday, today, and forever (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8). His Word, His grace, and His promises remain unshakable. God ensured the necessary destiny helpers throughout my life to ensure I always knew he was waiting on me and that he had chosen me for such a time as this. “Esther 4:14”.

My life is living proof that even when you run, God still calls your name.
Even when you fall, He lifts you up.
And even when you wander, He waits for his prodigals.

A Message from Terrica…

“My journey is one of redemption, restoration, and relentless faith. I’ve seen the healing power of God move through both prayer and practice — in hospital rooms, in homes, and in the hearts of those who were once broken. Everything I do — whether in ministry, medicine, or mentorship — flows from a single purpose: to reveal the love, truth, and transforming power of Jesus Christ. May every life I touch encounter His presence, experience His healing, and awaken to their divine purpose in Him.”
